2024 Parade of Hearts Selection
I'm honored to have been selected as one of the 2024 POH Artists. I have submitted my piece and it will be on display, along with the other 99 hearts, for a one time event Saturday, April 13th. The Event will be held at the American Royal in Kansas City from 10am until 4pm. It's a really fun event where you can see all the hearts and meet the Artists before they are placed throughout the city.
September 2023
I was selected as one of three artists for a September 2023 Exhibition at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery in Merriam, Kansas. The show is titled 'Reflections and Shadows'. I am displaying 16 pieces.

November 2022
Art Exhibition - Pittsburg, KS
It was exciting to be a part of a 3-artist exhibition at the Bev Corcoran Art Gallery in the Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium. I had 18 pieces included during this exhibition which lasted for the month of November.
January 2023
Something's up with my Parade of Hearts Art!!!
Last Summer, Jay Hollyman reached out to me to let me know he had purchased my heart in the Parade of Hearts auction. He told me his plan was to keep it at his home until January and then donate it to The University of Kansas Medical Center-Westwood Campus where my heart was originally placed. I’m happy he chose the Westwood Cancer Center and feel it is an appropriate and special place for my heart which is entitled 'KC Conquering Cancer'. I received so many nice comments from patients and staff when it was there originally. I met Abby Parker, Events Manager for KUMed, and Jay in January and we decided on its’ permanent home which is near the cafeteria and rest area for the facility. Jay is a good person with a big heart and his generosity will be remembered by patients and their families who come there for diagnosis and treatment. I’m honored to have been a part of this!

Parade of Hearts Artist Event
The Parade of Hearts 2023 Kickoff Event was held at American Royal Arena in Kansas City on April 15th. The event was hugely successful and featured the new 42 hearts being distributed throughout the city, as well as many of the POH Artist showing their work. This is my table and it was great seeing so many people supporting Kansas City's local artists!
